Infinite - Fase 1
This project aims at building a new laser machine to work on moulds
INFINITE originated from the need to create a faster, more accurate and more precise laser engraving solution that is able to provide the detail and quality requested by our customers. We aim to go through new and unexplored paths, such as comparing the traditional cartesian structure of current machines with anthropomotphic arms.
ML Engraving, a specialist in laser engraving and with plenty of experience in this sector is the ideal candidate for developing these types of innovation. DS4 has worked with robotics, laser systems and artificial vision for almost 20 years .For this reason it has been chosen as the primary partner to develop the hardware aspects of the INFINITE technology.
Based on the results of the feasibility study, the conclusion was that the INFINITE project will continue with Phase 2 of the instrument for SMEs since it is a strong project that can stimulate the market achieving widespread international consensus.

The SME Instrument is dedicated to supporting research and innovation activities and the abilities of SMEs during the various phases of the innovation cycle. It is divided into 3 phases. Phase 1 is the lump sum and it is paid to explore the feasibility and commercial potential of a project idea.
