Ovetto Dragonfly

As its name suggests, this Ovetto owes its peculiar texturing to entomological observation.

In particular, the geometric mosaic recalls the complex photosensitive structures that, by the thousands, make up the eyes of dragonflies and arthropods in general.

The second texture has the appearance of an organic pattern. It may represent a mass of insect eggs, an offcut of synthetic skin or a bacterial microbiota: abstractions that might be repulsive to some subjects, but precisely because of their ability to raise emotions and curiosity, they are of great interest to creative people.
