NewSkin AISBL: the network for nanotechnology

On 20th and 21st May, we hosted the first meeting of the NewSkin AISBL association, established to ensure continuity of services and infrastructures developed during the European project concluded in December 2024. 

The association aims to become the reference for innovation in nanotexturing and advanced coating to reduce the environmental impact of industrial processes, improving the resistance of materials and optimizing production cycles, in different sectors including automotive, aerospace, biomedicine and renewable energy. Our main fields of research are:

• corrosion and wear resistance
• reduction of friction and friction effects
• increased resistance to high temperatures
• increased grip and vibration control

The members include some of the companies that participated in the project, including ML Engraving, and some new realities that were welcomed at this first meeting. 

The association aims to expand and grow, so you can apply your company and join this international network of excellence, SMEs, laboratories and advanced testing tools to develop more efficient, resistant and efficient products.
