Surfaces are transformed by textures

Communicating is an important key of our work. We tell stories with our textures and transform surfaces to evoke tactile and visual sensations.
And that's what we did for Adell, a chair from the well-known Italian brand Arper, which we present in this new case study: we enhanced the surface with a texture that accentuates its natural element.

This project, made of polypropylene obtained from post-industrial waste, focuses on the delicate elegance of the leaf: from the welcoming shape of the shell, to the colour palette and the surface texture, composed of irregular ribbing, which covers both the interior and exterior of the product.

We are very proud of our collaboration with Arper, not only for the prestige of this brand in the world of product design, but also and above all for a shared vision of a sustainable future in which plastic and its supply chain are the focal point. We are aware that in order to achieve this goal, we need to adapt our processes, technologies and mentality to a green industry.

Arper is a brand that pays great attention to recycling and sustainability issues. Just think that 15 years ago, ahead of its time, it opened an Environmental Department.
