ML ENGRAVING S.r.l, owner of the web portal www.mlengraving.com, (hereinafter referred to as "ML ENGRAVING" or the "Company") is aware of the importance of its user’s right to privacy with respect to the processing of personal data. In compliance with European and Italian regulations concerning privacy, ML ENGRAVING would like to inform you that this website uses cookies to facilitate your browsing experience and to ensure that the personal data acquired via these tools are processed in compliance with law on the protection of personal data.

As regards this type of processing of personal data, pursuant to article 13 of Regulation (EU) no. 679/2016, ML ENGRAVING provides the following information:

Profiling cookies are designed to create user profiles based on personal choices and preferences, in order to send adverts in line with the profile created. This processing activity shall never result in discrimination or negative effects for the data subject. The legal basis for the processing of personal data for this purpose is provided for in art. 6, par. 1 , letter a) of Regulation (EU) no. 679/2016, i.e. the fact that user gave his consent to the installation of the profiling cookies.

Disabling cookies

2. Data retention time
Personal data collected and processed as a result of browsing the website www.mlengraving.com will be stored for the time needed to provide the service and then immediately erased. The cookies installed by the site are temporary and are automatically deleted at the expiry time indicated in this document. The data collected by Google Analytics services will be stored for a period of 14 months. Please see the privacy policy of each service provider for information on the other cookies.
 
3. Processing methods
The personal data collected will be handled, stored and processed by electronic means and will be stored on electronic media, as well as on paper, in a database format and on any other type of media that suits the purpose.
Specific safety measures are taken to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorised access.
The processing of personal data carried out by ML ENGRAVING does not involve automated decision making processes.

4. Communication and/or provision of personal data
The communication and/or provision of browsing data are required for the provision of the requested service (browsing on the website), and thus they are mandatory for this purpose; failure to communicate and/or provide the personal data by the data subject shall make it impossible for ML ENGRAVING to allow browsing on the website www.mlengraving.com. The communication and/or provision of data for additional purposes is optional; failure to communicate and/or provide any data, in such cases, shall have no consequence for the data subject. The installation of technical, analytics and third-party cookies from the website www.mlengraving.com is optional (it can be blocked via the browser settings), but could result in making the website and some of its services unusable.

5. Subjects to whom personal data may be disclosed
The collected personal data shall not be disseminated and may be disclosed, in addition to the persons who have been recognised as having the right and interest to access your personal data pursuant to any provisions of law or secondary and/or Community regulations, also the staff of the Controller, as well as to companies, associations or professional firms that provide services and work for the Controller as Data Processors for the fulfilment of legal obligations, and for any organizational and administrative requirements necessary to carry out the requested services.

6. Transfer of personal data abroad or to international organisationsML ENGRAVING does not transfer abroad or to international organisations the personal data of data subjects collected through browsing or using the services found on the website www.mlengraving.com.
 
7. Links to third party websites or services
This notice applies only to the processing of personal data carried out through this website or the tools mentioned therein, and not to any other websites visited by the user through a link, whose operators act in the capacity of autonomous data processors. Therefore, we recommend that users carefully read the relevant privacy policies before accessing any services provided by third parties.

8. Rights of the data subject
In relation to the above-mentioned processing of personal data, the data subject may, at any time, exercise his or her rights set out in Regulation (EU) no. 679/2016, including, but not limited to the right to obtain information about:
- the origin of the personal data;
- the purposes and methods of processing;
- the logic applied in case of processing with electronic instruments;
- the identification data of the Controller, data processors and designated representative.
A data subject shall have the right to obtain:
- access, updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
- erasure, anonymisation or blocking of data that has been unlawfully processed;
- restriction of processing of personal data concerning the data subject or to ask the controller or processor to limit the purposes or methods used to process personal data.
The data subject may also ask for a copy of their data in standard format (i.e. "Right to data portability").

The data subject also has the right to object, at any time and free of charge, in whole or in part:
-on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection
- to the processing of personal data concerning him or her be performed in accordance with GDPR under article 6, paragraph 1, letter e. ("processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller") or f. ("processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third parties") including profiling based on those provisions;
- to the processing of personal data for sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market surveys or commercial communication (direct marketing), including profiling to the extent that is related thereto.


The data subject shall have the right to withdraw his or her consent to processing, as provided for under art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a. (when "the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes"), or article 9, paragraph 2, letter  a. (when "the data subject has given explicit consent to the processing of those personal data for one or more specified purposes"), of Regulation (EU) 679/2016, at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
If the data subject considers that the processing of his or her personal data infringes the regulation in force, data subject shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of his or her habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
